Senofy Consulting · Salon Launch Advisory

Develop, design, and launch the salon you actually want.

Most new salon owners spend their first year fixing what they got wrong in the first thirty days. We help you get it right from day one—site, build-out, marketing, technology, and the team behind it.

Section 01 · Who this is for

Three kinds of owners.

Senofy Consulting isn’t for everyone. It’s for owners making expensive, irreversible decisions—the kind where outside expertise pays for itself many times over.

  • i.

    You’re opening a new salon.

You’ve signed (or are signing) a lease. You need the location, layout, marketing, and operations right from day one—not after a year of expensive trial and error.

  • ii.

You’re expanding to a second or third location.

Your first location works. You don’t want to repeat its mistakes—and you want the next one to ramp faster, with systems that actually carry across locations.

  • iii.

Your salon should be more profitable than it is.

Revenue is fine but margins aren’t. Or marketing is a black box. Or the tech stack is duct-taped. You need an outside operator to find what’s actually broken.

If you’re looking for a quick fix, the full engagement isn’t the right fit. We get involved in the decisions that move the business—your lease, your layout, your marketing engine, your tech stack, your hiring—and we stay until those decisions produce results. That’s what $15,000 buys. If you need something smaller and more focused, our lower-tier engagements start at $1,000.
Section 02 · The Stack

We’re not consultants.
We’re operators with a complete stack.

Three capabilities that almost never sit under one roof. We have all three—because we built our own salon-adjacent business first, then learned to build the buildings, then built the marketing systems.

01

Licensed contracting—residential and commercial.

Amour Construction holds two Louisiana state licenses: Residential Construction (#887572) and Commercial Building (#72507). Most contractors hold one. We hold both. Eleven custom homes built since 2020 ($300K–$1M+ each). Six commercial projects including five nail salons and one restaurant. Combined work: $13.7M+ in completed construction value across a decade.

02

Sixteen years inside the salon industry.

iNail Supply—founded 2009—is a 10,000 sqft owned facility distributing nail products to salons across the United States. We’ve watched what works and what doesn’t from the supply side for sixteen years. When we tell you a layout will hurt revenue, or a hiring approach won’t scale, or a price point won’t hold, we’re drawing on data most consultants will never see.

03

An AI marketing platform we built ourselves.

Senofy is our proprietary technology stack: AI-powered review collection, conversation AI, AI voice agents, automated social posting, and managed Meta + Google ad campaigns. Built by the operators who grew businesses to $8M revenue per year—then held near-peak revenue through the 2025 downturn while improving margins. Your salon launches with the marketing engine already running.

Find another firm anywhere in the United States that combines all three. We’ll wait.

Section 03 · Flagship Project

UNIQ Nail Lounge
& Studio
Lafayette, Louisiana · 2026

An 8,740 sqft mixed-concept development combining a full-service nail lounge with independent suite-rental studios under one roof—a hybrid model most salon owners are told isn’t feasible. Developed end-to-end, site sourcing through grand opening, under one principal.

For a project of this scale, most owners coordinate four or more separate firms: a developer, an architect, a general contractor, and a marketing agency. UNIQ was developed, designed, and built by Senofy’s principals alone—then launched with our marketing platform pre-installed.

From site sourcing to ribbon cutting.

UNIQ opened its doors in April 2026 with a full ceremony—Vietnamese lion dance at the entrance, ribbon cutting, and a Certificate of Recognition from One Acadiana. Thang led the project from site selection through opening day as developer, designer, and general contractor.

Section 04 · Case Study

Mimi Mai Nail Spa
Lafayette, Louisiana · 2024

A boutique 2,888 sqft appointment-only salon—built for an owner who wanted a different kind of business: smaller footprint, premium clientele, no walk-ins.

Two years after opening, Mimi Mai is among the top nail salons in Lafayette and almost always fully booked. The appointment-only model isn’t an accident—it was designed in from the start: smaller floor plan, higher-margin services, premium materials, and a marketing approach built for repeat clients rather than foot traffic.

Not every salon needs to be UNIQ-scale to succeed. Mimi Mai is what right-sized excellence looks like.

Ja’noir Nail Lounge
Lake Charles, Louisiana · 2023

A 2,875 sqft full-service luxury salon—designed and built to be the destination salon in Lake Charles. Art deco styling, marble surfaces, brass detailing, a wine bar lounge, and a private pedicure room dressed like a spa suite.

Most full-service salons fight on price. Ja’noir was built to fight on experience. Two years in, it’s the salon Lake Charles points to when locals talk about what an upscale experience actually looks like.

Where Mimi Mai is precision at small scale, Ja’noir is execution at full scale—proof that luxury doesn’t require limited capacity.

Thang Duong

Founder · Construction & Operations

Civil Engineer by training (University of Louisiana at Lafayette, 2009). Co-founded iNail Supply with his wife Jacqueline in 2009—growing it from a 950 sqft leased space to the 10,000 sqft owned facility it occupies today, serving salons across the United States.

In 2019, founded Amour Construction. Holds dual Louisiana state contractor licenses. Eleven custom homes built since 2020, ranging from $300K to $1M+. Six commercial projects—including the $4.37M UNIQ Nail Lounge development, where he led Development, Design, and General Contracting under one principal.

Co-founded Senofy in 2025 to combine the salon-industry depth of iNail with the construction expertise of Amour—and to give salon owners a single firm that could do all of it.

Khai Nguyen

Co-Founder · Technology & Marketing

Master’s in Computer & Electrical Engineering (University of Louisiana at Lafayette, 2022). Started part-time at iNail Supply at age 16. A year before graduation, took over the company’s ecommerce channel.

Grew iNail Supply’s online sales from $10K+ to 7-figures per year over four years through paid advertising, Vietnam sales operations, and the operational systems that made the growth sustainable. When the market softened in 2025, held revenue near peak while improving profitability.

Co-founded Senofy in 2025 to build the marketing technology stack he wished he’d had earlier—purpose-built for nail and beauty salons. The system Khai built for iNail is the same system Senofy now deploys for clients. When a salon owner asks how we know online marketing works for nail businesses, the answer isn’t theory. It’s a four-year track record of measurable, compounding growth.

Common questions.

What’s the difference between Senofy Consulting and a marketing agency?

A marketing agency runs your ads. We help you build the entire business. Your marketing won’t work if your layout is wrong, your hiring is broken, or your tech stack is duct-taped together. We fix the whole picture—from the lease you sign to the ads we run for you.

Do you only work with new salons?

No. We also work with established salons that need a marketing engine rebuilt, a second location launched, or evaluation before acquiring an existing salon. Most of our clients are at one of four inflection points: opening, expanding, fixing a salon that should be more profitable than it is, or buying.

How is your pricing structured?

Four tiers of engagement, each priced for a specific stage of the process: Lease Analysis at $1,000 (written strategic analysis of an existing LOI or lease the landlord has prepared), LOI Strategy at $3,000 (strategic term sheet, market analysis, and debrief call), Salon Evaluation at $4,500 (three-section diligence for buying an existing salon), and Full Engagement at $15,000 per project (comprehensive launch advisory). When we serve as builder of record on a buildout, construction management is priced separately as a percentage of project value.

Do you offer design and drafting and salon design?

Yes—for clients who need it. Our Design & Drafting service includes design and drafting, salon layout design, floor plan development, MEP coordination drawings, 3D rendering, construction detailing, and permit submission coordination. Pricing is custom-quoted per project based on space size, scope, and complexity.

This service is currently available for nail salon projects in Louisiana and Texas, with our licensed architect and engineering partners handling projects of all sizes. Engineered MEP stamps and Fire Marshal submissions are coordinated through our partner referral network. Ask during your strategy call if you’d like to add design to your engagement.

Can I start smaller before committing to the full engagement?

Yes. Three lower-tier offerings let you engage with us at a lower cost depending on where you are: Lease Analysis if you have a lease in hand and want a sober second opinion, LOI Strategy if you need to make an offer on a new build-out, or Salon Evaluation if you’re buying an existing salon. Each is priced as a standalone engagement—separate scope, separate fee, no credit-forward dependencies. If you decide later that you also want the full launch engagement, that’s a separate decision and a separate engagement.

How does payment work, and what happens if I need to cancel?

Payment structure depends on the engagement: Lease Analysis ($1,000) is paid in full on signing. LOI Strategy ($3,000) and Salon Evaluation ($4,500) are split as a 50% deposit on signing plus 50% on delivery of the deliverable (your LOI term sheet and memo, or your diligence report). Full Engagement ($15,000) is paid as four monthly installments of $3,750.

If you need to cancel: before we’ve begun substantive work on the engagement—typically within two business days of receiving your intake materials—we refund the deposit less a $150 administrative fee that covers intake, scheduling, and engagement setup. Once we’ve started substantive work, the deposit becomes non-refundable. Once the deliverable has been sent to you, the balance is due regardless of subsequent events: the landlord’s response to your LOI, the seller’s withdrawal, or your decision to walk away from a property. Our work product is the deliverable. Outcomes beyond that are outside the scope of the engagement.

Can you share specific performance numbers from your work at iNail Supply?

We share high-level performance markers during the free strategy call so you can assess fit. The specific revenue figures, channel-by-channel economics, and operational playbook that produced the growth are part of what we deliver to engaged clients—not material we publish on a public FAQ. Once you’ve signed an engagement letter and we’ve established a working confidentiality framework, those specifics become part of your engagement.

What’s the time commitment from me?

Plan on four to six hours per week from you and/or your operating partner during the engagement. We do the heavy lifting; you make the decisions only you can make—which lease to sign, who to hire, how to position the brand. The decisions stay yours; the execution is ours.

Can I talk to past clients?

Once we’ve had a discovery call and confirmed a fit, we’ll connect you with relevant past or current clients you can speak with directly. We’ll only share contacts where the project is comparable to yours.

How do you decide which clients to take on?

We work with a limited number of clients per cycle—typically four to five active engagements at a time. We say no when a project isn’t a fit (wrong scope, wrong timeline, wrong industry). We say yes when we can deliver real outcomes. The discovery call helps us figure out which one this is.
